Dr. William D. Ramsey has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of emergency health care and emergency management. Dr. Ramsey earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1984 from West Virginia University where he founded the Emergency Medicine Residency Program and still retains his status as an adjunct professor of emergency medicine. He has served as Director of several state wide emergency boards and successfully developed, planned, implemented, and reviewed several state and nation wide emergency communication systems. Dr. Ramsey’s technical, practical, and educational background has provided extensive expertise in the development, improvement, and execution of government and private policies, procedures, and regulations. He is a nationally recognized lecturer and has authored several publications.

Dr. Ramsey’s comprehensive medical and program development background has assured his successful performance at Healthcare Management Solutions as the Vice President of Medical Expertise and Review (MER) and Medical Director. Dr. Ramsey oversees and maintains several projects at HMS. His unequalled qualifications enable Dr. Ramsey to create solutions for any healthcare need.
