Leah Heimbach's extensive medico-legal background provides HMS the unique opportunity to offer healthcare providers an array of services. She has worked as a healthcare attorney and provider. She served as general counsel for a university medical center hospital, as well as a large community hospital. Leah was the administrator of a federally funded injury control training and demonstration center. She has also worked as a critical care nurse and flight paramedic. For over 20 years, Leah served as the executive director of a statewide emergency physician organization.
During her career she has developed and implemented compliance and risk management programs. She has been able to reduce organizational costs by millions of dollars, and improve overall profitability for a variety of healthcare organizations. Ms. Heimbach presents at state and national meetings and has authored numerous articles for national publications.
Ms. Heimbach also has experience as a Project Manager in work with both the government and private sector.
